Biography: The founder of the practice is Amy Rusby, who is the managing director. Her time is split between management, liaison, practice expansion and a small clinical caseload. She is predominantly Bobath trained, having completed all the two-day normal movement courses as prerequisites to the Basic Bobath Course, which she also completed, plus two Advanced Bobath courses and other Advanced Bobath workshops. She has also spent time working alongside one of the senior Bobath tutors. As well as this she has attended lectures run by Carr and Shepherd who practice another approach to the assessment and treatment of patients with neurological conditions. She qualified originally in 1997 with a BSc Honours degree in physiotherapy from the University of Liverpool and from there went to work in the NHS at Peterborough Hospitals, where she gained a wide range of experience and began specialising in neurolog.
