HAIR TRANSPLANTATION

In the dedicated operating theatres in world quality standards within Nişantaşı Hospital, the suitable hair transplantation surgeries are applied by a specialised dermatologist with experienced and professional teams.

METHODS USED IN HAIR TRANSPLANTATION

FUE: Follicular Unit Extraction

In Follicular unit extraction - briefly FUE - method, the hair follicles are collected individually with special punches via micro motor under local anaesthesia and placed to the hairless areas taking into consideration the natural hair growing direction.

According to the number of follicles obtained and the gap, it is possible to plant 50 - 60 hair follicles per centimetre.

DHI: Direct Hair Implantation

In direct hair transplantation - briefly DHI - method, hair follicles area collected from the donor area without scars and cuts are planted

with the help of CHOI PENs. With this method, more intensive transplantation can be achieved in narrow areas with no hair.

Since the hair follicles are transplanted without waiting, this method brings high success.
