Dr. Manish Khaitan is a devoted surgeon with over 15 years of experience in Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery and over 20 years of experience in Laparoscopic Surgeries. Biography: Dr. Manish Khaitan is one of the stalwart Bariatric and Metabolic surgeons in India. He is the Director of Nobesity Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery Center at Colombia Asia Hospital, Ahmedabad. Dr. Khaitan has 15 + years of experience in Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery and 20 + years of experience in other Gastro and Minimal Invasive Surgeries. He along with his team have successfully performed more than 2000 Bariatric procedures which is one of the highest Bariatric experience in India. Dr. Khaitan is one of the first surgeons to initiate Bariatric Surgery Program in India after being conferred with Bariatric Fellowship in USA under Dr Kelvin Higa, one of the world authorities in Bariatric Surgery. Free of Cost Lifelong Follow up opportunity for any bariatric patient either operated by him or any other surgeon is a hallmark of his Bariatric Program. Dr Khaitan and team facilitate probably the largest Support Group in India for Bariatric Patients. Dr. Khaitan has been recognised as the Best Bariatric Surgeon of Gujarat and Best Bariatric Surgeon by IPSA Healthcare and Praxis Media respectively. He also runs Bariatric and Metabolic Fellowship Program to train young surgeons. Biography: Ms. Ishita is a Dietician at Nobesity Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery Centre. She has done her Masters in Foods and Nutrition. She has also worked as a Dietician in Multispeciality hopsitals. She has total 13 years of experience in Dietetic field (Planning of diets for different diseases). At Nobesity Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery Centre she is planning diets for post operative patients according to the needs for weight reduction of each patient. She is also helping in follow ups of operated patients & in motivational programme for the patients (SUPPORT GROUP).

After that she worked as an assistant doctor in charitable hospital before joining bariatric and metabolic surgery department in 2012. Since last 5 years she is working as a psychologist, Counsellor and bariatric coordinator. Biography: Dr. Pravin Patel is a senior consultant Anaesthetist in team Nobesity. He has completed his M.D anaesthesia in 2001 from well-known B.J medical college and Civil Hospital Ahmedabad. Since 2002 he is working as a consultant anaesthesiologist in various speciality branches like Bariatric, cosmetic, renal transplant, Neurosurgery laparoscopic G.I surgeries. He is mainly interested in Bariatric anaesthesia for morbidly obese patients. He has successfully managed more than 1700 cases over a period of 9 years without any mortality. He was consultant Anaesthesiologist in Asian bariatric and at present he is in Columbia Asia Hospital Ahmedabad with Dr. Manish Khaitan in team Nobesity. He has also conducted more than 300 renal transplant cases. He is attached with Jivraj Mehta Hospital as a transplant anaesthetist. At present Founder member and secretary of ASO Life member ISSP Life member IMA Life member AAA He regularly delivers his talk in field of Bariatric anaesthesia in national conferences as a faculty.
