Biography: Having graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a Bsc (hons) in Sport and Exercise Science Mehmet went on to complete a Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Essex and subsequently became a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and fully registered with the Health Professions Council. Mehmet’s has previously worked for a private physiotherapy provider called IPRS, but most recently comes from managing a clinic for David Lloyd Physiotherapy. Mehmet has experience working with a variety of different sportsmen and women after working with elite level youth rugby and football players at the West Suffolk Sports Academy and also working with elite level rowers and athletes at Head Start Sport Injury and Performance Clinic in Cambridge. Having gained experience working with rugby and football clubs at a semi-professional level at AFC Sudbury and Tabard RFC, and completing placements within two NHS hospital outpatient departments. Mehmet has a strong interest in Sports Physiotherapy and keeping up to date with recent evidence based practice.
