Biography: The art & science of making a custom-made Artificial eyes is known as "Ocularistry" The person who makes an artificial eyes is known as an "Ocularist". Amit Kr Maheshwari is a certified Ocularist practicing in Delhi NCR. He knows the pain of a disfigured/ accidental eye patient. Amit Kr Maheshwari has done his Graduation (science) in 1999 from Rohilkhand university, Bareilly. Amit Kr Maheshwari has done Optometry/ Ocularistry science from Gandhi Eye Hospital, Aligarh in 2003. (a certified institute from UP state medical facuilty, Lucknow. This Institute is the first and oldest Institute (1984) in India). Amit Kr Maheshwari has done Clinical Contact Lens Practice & -Artificial eye making course from Gandhi Eye hospital, Aligarh in 2005. Amit Kr Maheshwari has done Low vision aid devices dispensing certificate course from LVPEI, Hyderabad in 2006. Amit Kr Maheshwari is completing his post graduation in ocularistry very soon. Amit Kr Maheshwari is life time member of International Association of Contact Lens Educator Society (IACLE), Australia. He also a life time member of Optometrist association of India. Ocularist plays a very important role in proper making, fitting and care of -Artificial eyes. Amit Kr Maheshwari is a professional trained in fitting and fabricating custom-made -Artificial eyes.
