Biography: During my years as a professional physiotherapist I have continued my further education to improve and update treatment techniques; including two years of Osteopathy and Sports Physiotherapy. I am also a fully qualified Hippotherapist since 2011. A year in Guernsey, at the Island Sports and Rehabilitation Centre, gave me a lot of experience with competing athletes and their injuries, and the confidence to approach and dive into the surfing community here in the Algarve. For the past 7 years I’ve been working as a self-employed Physiotherapist and also volunteering as the attending Physiotherapist at the Riding for Disabled of Barlavento. During these years I have gained a solid reputation within the local community and, therefore, I have a consistent international and varied client base. During my travels and education, I have developed and improved my linguistic skills; I speak German, English and Portuguese fluently and have a good understanding of Spanish.
