About Physiotherapy Works -Elland
Established since 2008, our Chartered Physiotherapists have extensive experience of working with NHS hospitals, private hospitals, rehabilitation centres, private clinics, onsite for local businesses, and for local sports teams. Based in Elland, Cleckheaton & Queensbury we are able to provide Physiotherapy services for the West Yorkshire area.
Whatever your physical problem we have a solution. As Chartered Physiotherapists (BSc Hons, MSc, MCSP) and musculoskeletal specialists, we treat patients with a variety of problems We show commitment to evidence based practice by attending regular continuous professional development training which have included Medical Exercise Therapy, Nags and Snags, Biopsychosocial Training, Sports Massage, Clinical taping, Myofascial Release, Ergonomic Workstation Assessments, Acupuncture, Paediatric Physiotherapy, Pre & Post Natal Physiotherapy and more.

Mr David Roome

Biography: David qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2009. David has been with Physiotherapy Works since 2011 and is one of our most senior Physiotherapists. David specialisms are MSK Physiotherapy, Sports Injuries & BIkeFit. When David is not working or looking after his two young children, he is usually to be found running in the Pennines. He has twice been British Orienteering Champion in his age group and has represented England.

Mrs Olivia Overton

Biography: Olivia qualified from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2015 with a BSc Hons in Physiotherapy. She worked through a number of rotations in the NHS before joining Physiotherapy Works in 2017. Olivia is our specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist helping all her clients achieve goals both sporting and functional while trying to make rehabilitation fun and enjoyable. She is also one of our Clinical Pilates trained physio's teaching matwork and reformer sessions.

Mrs Tracy Mott

Biography: Clinical Lead Physiotherapist. Qualified with first class honours from Huddersfield University and has over 11 years clinical experience across the NHS and in private practice. Undertaken post graduate training in clinical pilates, therapeutic yoga, rheumatology, running injury, geriatrics and is currently completing a Masters degree in Exercise and Nutrition Science. Passionate about movement for health and well-being, leaving behind a successful career in financial services to retrain as a physiotherapist. Loves CrossFit, a daily dose of mindful movement (yoga or Pilates), big mountain biking adventures, running with friends and animals having rehomed cats and rabbits who are now living their best lives!

Mr Craig Morland

Biography: Craig qualified from Northumbria University in 2017 with an MSc Hons in Physiotherapy. Prior to this Craig was a sports therapist working with various sports teams in the North East. Following his graduation in physiotherapy Craig worked predominantly in football (with both men's and women's teams) and managed to secure a role with The FA in their talent pathway. This experience gives Craig a wealth of knowledge with sporting injuries. Craig enjoys the rehabilitation side of physiotherapy and helping people get back to the activities they love. Outside of work you will often find Craig following his much-loved Newcastle United, running, cycling or playing squash.

Biography: I am an MSK physiotherapist with a passion for health, fitness & fun. I have worked in the health and fitness injury for 20 +years. My portfolio includes gymnastics coaching, running strength and conditioning classes inclusive of spin/HIIT classes. I have participated, competed in, and coached CrossFit. I’m a level 2 British weightlifting coach and in my spare time you may find me at local/national competitions coaching and having a go myself. I compete nationally and internationally in weightlifting. I became Masters British Champion in 2022 in the W40 59KG class. My most recent achievement was coming 5th in the W40 55KG Masters World Championships, Poland 2023. I am passionate about getting you back to your activities of daily living, hobbies & sports. Using my underpinning knowledge and adapting treatment strategies to my patients, approaching each individually.I am a mother of 3 children & 2 step children and enjoy family time away from Physiotherapy. My other hobbies include, rock climbing, horse riding, travelling the world and walking my 2 crazy dogs!

Ms Amna Iqbal

Biography: I qualified with a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2019 and started work within Pakistan Army soon after. I completed my rotations and then specialised in Masters Cardiovascular Rehabilitation in 2021 and started work as a Lecturer and Clinical Physiotherapist within Riphah International University Islamabad.I moved from Pakistan to further enhance my knowledge in rehabilitation. I am currently doing my Masters in Advanced Physiotherapy at Sheffield Hallam University. I thoroughly enjoy working at Physiotherapy Works and I am glad to be a part of such a great team.I can speak English, Urdu and Punjabi very well.Out of work, I love spending time with my husband. We like to go up to the Lakes when we can and if I get the chance I love playing badminton.
