Biography: MBBS, MS (General Surgery) and MCh (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery) from Prestigious Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University , Aligarh, UP. Dr.Akhtar, Prior to Joining Neotia Getwel Healthcare Centre has worked as plastic surgeon in Anandaloke hospital and Neuroscience Centre, Siliguri. He has also worked as observer in a renowned cosmetic surgery centre in Kolkata and participated in a cosmetic surgery workshop held in PGMER Kolkata. He had also participated in a workshop on “Laser” held at India Habitat centre New Delhi. Dr Akhtar has also done an APSI accredited course on “Head and Neck Reconstruction” in Tata Medical Centre Kolkata.
