Biography: Gürlife Hospital Neurology Department provides outpatient and inpatient diagnosis, treatment and follow-up services for a wide range of neurological diseases. Our hospital provide services in the fields of brain hemorrhage, headache, dizziness, cerebrovascular diseases, movement disorders, muscle and nerve diseases, epilepsy, alzheimer's, multiple sclerosis, stroke and sleep disorders, which are the field of our Neurology Department. When necessary, studies are carried out in close cooperation with the Radiology, Brain and Nerve Surgery Departments in our hospital. Examinations such as cranial tomography or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), echocardiography, extracranial doppler are applied to our patients. These results obtained contribute to the follow-up and treatment of our patients. EMG (electromioneurography) examination, which is a dynamic diagnostic method in the diagnosis of painful conditions such as lumbar and neck hernia, is performed in our electrophysiology laboratory to evaluate neuropathies that mostly occur with complaints such as hand and foot numbness. EEG (electroensopholography) examination, which is used for the purpose of differential diagnosis in many diseases of the central nervous system, sleep, wakefulness, especially epilepsy, can also be performed in our electrophysiology laboratory. Movement disorders, migraine therapy, spastic hemiparesis and paraparesis are also performed with USG and EMG. The infection treatments and the replacement (immunoglobulin) treatments in the absence of humoral immunity of the diagnosed patients are performed and followed up.Diagnosis and treatment of "allergic diseases", which is an increasingly important health problem in children and adults, are also carried out. In addition, information is provided on methods of protection from allergens. Allergic diseases are food allergies (with slight pause in recent years, not less common in children), eczema (atopic dermatitis), allergic rhinitis, asthma, bee sting, urticaria-angioedema (also hereditary angioedema) and drug allergies. Another allergic disease is called anaphylaxis, especially caused by food and drugs and which has a very severe clinical picture.Allergy tests and respiratory function tests are performed in our hospital.
