Private Hospital Vita is a modern, multidisciplinary hospital with over 15 departments across two facilities, 200 beds, and 9 operating rooms. The hospital emphasises on Bariatric/Metabolic, Orthopedic, Plastic, and Aesthetic surgery. Established in 1991, Vita was the first private health facility in Sofia, founded by two specialist doctors. Since then, it has evolved into the city's first private multidisciplinary hospital for active treatment.

Biography: Dr. Radostina Dukovska is an abdominal surgeon with over 14 years of experience gained in several hospitals in Germany. She graduated medicine in 2009 at the Sofia University, and briefly worked in the biliary-hepatic and pancreatic surgery clinic of the Sofia Academy of Medical Sciences. In 2012, she continued her specialization in a clinic in Germany, and in 2016 she received an invitation to move to one of the leading hospitals in North Rhine Westphalia, where in 2020 she acquired a specialty in General Surgery and became the chief physician in the bariatric surgery department. From 2008 to 2023, Prof. Dr. Gornev heads the General Surgery Clinic at Lozenets General Hospital. Since 2011 is a teacher at the Faculty of Medicine of the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". In 2016, he was elected associate professor of surgery at the University of St. Kliment Ohridski".
