Biography: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teoman Dal, M.D.Born on August 31, 1966. Graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1989 with a first. He was trained otolaryngology specialization between 1989-1993 in Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine Department of Otolaryngology. He fulfilled his compulsory service between 1994-1995. He has worked in Ankara Baskent University Faculty of Medicine Department of Otolaryngology as Assistant Professor between 1995-1999. He fulfilled his military service duty in Ankara GATA Department of Otolaryngology between 1999-2000. In He was granted the title of Associate Professor in November 2000 and worked in Ankara Baskent University Faculty of Medicine Department of Otolaryngology till September 2001. In 1999, he was graduated from Ankara Baskent University Social Sciences Institute Management of Healthcare Institutions Master’s Program as first.He has worked in V.K.V. Amerikan Hastanesi between 2001 – 2002 and in Acibadem Health Group Kadiköy Hospital as Otolaryngology Specialist between 2002 – 2003 and worked for a period of 3 years between 2003-2006 in Vehbi Koç Foundation American Hospital as the Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director of Vehbi Koç Foundation Healthcare Institutions. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teoman Dal has started to work part-time in V.K.F. American Hospital after he has opened his private practice in October 2006.Dr. Teoman Dal was trained in 1998 in New York Mount Sinai Hospital on the subject of head and neck reconstructive surgery and microsurgery. He also was trained in April 2007, in USA on the subject of Balloon Sinuplasty, in March 2010 in France on the subject of Robotic Surgery, in September 2012 in Austria on the subject of Sialendoscopy and in four different sessions between 2008 and 2012, in Austria on the subject of Facial Plastic Surgery.His special fields of interest are; Aesthetic and functional nasal surgery, aesthetic surgery of the face, endoscopic sinus Surgery, sinus surgeries performed with balloon (balloon sinuplasty), computer assisted sinus surgery – surgical navigation, treatment of snoring and sleep apnea and reconstructive surgery of head and neck (repairing tissue and function losses).Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teoman Dal has many presentations in national and international congresses and published book chapters and numerous scientific papers published in national and international journals.
