He graduated in medicine and surgery from Medical College, Calcutta. After initial training in General Surgery he migrated to United Kingdom.In United Kingdom, after completing FRCS and completing his training in General Surgery - he took up Plastic Surgery as a career.With eighteen years of experience in Plastic Surgery he did his Registrar jobs in famous centers as Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham City Hospital, Nottingham and Charing Cross Hospital, London. He completed his Senior Registrar training from Frenchay Hospital, Bristol and Regional Burns Centre at Pinderfields Hospital. He also specialised in hand surgery as a Senior Registrar from the internationally famous hand centre - Pulvertaft Hand Centre.He has worked as a Consultant in Plastic Surgery Norwich Group of Hospitals. He practiced as a Consultant Aesthetic Surgeon in Harley Street. For a brief span he has worked as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in Kuwait catering to the Cosmetic Surgery needs of the Middle East.His special interests are in Cosmetic Surgery.
