Biography: In a former life founder Janette Lahoud worked in finance. But since starting her mobile laser clinic 8 years ago, she’s been passionate about the beauty business. Her former business involved transporting IPL machines to beauty salons, where she offered laser treatments for unwanted hair, broken capillaries and pigmentation. A desire to offer her clients more advanced cosmetic treatments led to the establishment of the Refine Body beauty salon in 2011. Janette describes the salon as young, fresh and modern with a fun atmosphere. Think hot pink flowers, chandeliers and relaxing music. “Some of our clients don’t want to leave,” she says. They do take beauty seriously around here though. Janette and her business partner Dianne have hired Medical Aesthetician Annie Hawthorne and Beauty Therapist Andrea Scott to deliver treatments like fraxel laser, IPL hair removal, ultrasonic cavitation and dermal fillers to a steady stream of happy clients.

After being approached by Janette, Dianne gladly joined her budding beauty empire, bringing her organisational skills and keen eye for detail. Dianne has a natural flair for interior design and Refine Body’s classy interior owes much to her design skills.
