Mr Matthias Maus

Biography: Creative mastermind and medical director of this team is Matthias Maus, the founder of sehkraft. He has been an ophthalmologist since 1991. In1992 he began to work in the area of photorefractive corneal surgery. He is a pioneer in the on-going technological development of lasers and applications, and with over 50,000 LASIK operations under his belt; he is among the most experienced laser surgeons in the world. As an international LASIK trainer, he has already trained more than 400 surgeons from all around the world in customized LASIK and provides training related to new technologies for around 70 international ophthalmologists every year.
Mr Wolfgang Riha

Biography: Since 2007, Dr. Riha has played a key role in the development of the KAMRA inlay and the corresponding implantation procedures and is one of the most experienced physicians in this field.Since September 2013, he has been the specialist for LASIK and KAMRA-Inlay complementing team sehkraft.Dr. Wolfgang Riha is the author of numerous publications and often seen internationally as a speaker at several congresses. His scientific focus rests on refractive surgery and presbyopia correction.The international specialist publication "The Ophthalmologist" has recently distinguished him as one of the world's best ophthalmologists under 40 years. Among the "Top 40 under 40" selected by a specialist committee are only 12 Europeans.
Mr Josef Stoiber

Biography: Since 2006, Dr. Stoiber has been successful in the field of refractive surgery. In the area of Femto-LASIK, he can rely on the experience with various laser systems. He was also one of the first surgeons in Austria to be certified for the implantation of the KAMRA inlay for the correction of presbyopia.Dr. Stoiber has been working for sehkraft as a surgeon in the fields of LASIK, KAMRA and especially cataract surgery since 2012, and till now has performed over 5.000 cataract surgeries.

Miss Kristina Liney

Biography: Miss Liney joined our team in October 2015 in cologne. There, she supported the optician team until October 2017 in both LASIK and IOL. She refracted our LASIK patients and performed pre- and postoperative measurements. Since November 2017 Miss Liney works for our practice in Vienna.In addition to advising the LASIK and lens patients as well as the optical measuring of the patients, she takes over the profile planning of the LASIK treatments and calculates the intraocular lenses (IOL) to be used for cataract or CLE (Clear Lens Exchange) operations.In addition, the operation of the femtosecond laser in the IOL-OP as well as the assistance on the laser in the Lasik-OP are her tasks.
