Biography: I graduated from Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2000. After completed the training in General Surgery in 2003, I attended a programme of Surgical training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at The Royal College of Surgeons of England and in UCL Ear Institute (Gray's Inn Road, London) in 2005. Received a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine in Barcelona in 2006. Completed my PhD in 2009 and the specialty in ENT Surgery (Otolaryngology) at AHEPA University Hospital of Thessaloniki in 2011.I am working as an ENT Surgeon with a special interest in Facial Plastic Surgery and Lasers in Aesthetic Medicine.I have developed a special interest in Facial Plastic Surgery, non-Surgical Cosmetic and Laser surgical procedures.I was one of the first Surgeons to work on the revolutionary Smartlipo laser when it was introduced in UK in 2006 and the first Surgeon to introduce it in Greece, in Thessaloniki, in earlies 2008.From 2006-2008 I worked as a Medical Director in Ultralase Medical Aesthetics Clinic, Beyond Spa at Harvey Nichols, and as Smartlipo and Facial Plastic Surgeon at EF Medispa and Dr Rita Rakus Clinic. I continued to work as Smartlipo Surgeon at Dr Rita Rakus Clinic until end of 2009.Developed my own techniques and protocols including Smartlipo with aspiration, and Smartlipo in combination with lymphatic drainage massage using both the LPG endermologie technique and Triactive+ post-lipo treatments, which help my patients achieve the best results. I was also the first Surgeon to introduce in Greece the latest technology Smartlipo Triplex & Cellulaze Laser from Cynosure as treatment for cellulite and for excessive underarm sweating (hyperhidrosis). I also preform SmartLifting Laser facelift, laser blepharoplasty and many minimal invasive or non surgical facial aesthetics procedures, as Silhouette Soft thread facelift, Botulin toxin injections, fillers, Plenyage, [Name redacted] autologous mesotherapy, microneedling RF fractional treatments and fraxel laser treatment, etc. In the field of Head & Neck Surgery and Otolaryngology, I preform laser-assisted septoplasty, rhinoplasty, facial plastic reconstructive surgery, otoplasty, laser dissection of tongue-tie and other oral genital abnormalities, functional endoscopic sinus surgery for polypectomy, salivary glands surgery and ear surgery, such as tympanoplasty and laser assisted stapedectomy and stapedotomy for otosclerosis.
