Biography: Dr Ikhwan won a scholarship to study Dentistry and graduated with D.D.S. (UKM), Malaysia in 2004. He began his career in Miri, Sarawak where he spent many years engaging and cultivating oral health awareness to the indigeneous people of Sarawak. He would often spend hours on the road, 'sampans' (small boats) and small planes to reach the interiors. On hindsight, that experience provided him with the empathy in dealing with patients. He was later attached to the Twin Towers Medical Centre, KLCC until his decision to set up his own practice in 2012. Smileworks Dental continues to gain the trust of adults and kids alike!
