Biography: My name is Melanie White I have been a lecturer in beauty therapy, specializing in anatomy and physiology and electrolysis for the past 13 years, whilst maintaining a thriving practice alongside. I have recently expanded the practice to full time. I have been a beauty therapist and trainer since 1989 and have worked in salons and colleges throughout the UK. My treatment room is centrally located on the Brighton-Hove boarder, with easy access by bus 7 and 27, or 15 minutes walking from either Brighton or Hove train station. By car, I am located just off Dyke Road, the main artery road into the town centre, and there is plenty of meter parking. I have dual beauty qualifications with VTCT and City and Guilds, a Bsc.Hons in Human Physiology and a PGCE. Numerous post-graduate qualification including VTCT and Sterex qualifications in advanced electrolysis. The permanent removal of hair using a fine needle has been recognized as an effective treatment by the medical profession for over 100 years. Hair grows for many reasons and the process of permanent removal can be a lengthy one that requires commitment. I use Sterex products and equipment, the market leaders in this field. My needles are sterile one use needles, supplied in a blister pack and disposed of in a sharps bin after use. Tools are sterilised for each client and disposable gloves are always worn.
