Biography: General Dentistry. She is qualified as a dentist in 1987 from St Martins University in Colombia. She also achieved a postgraduate qualification in Maxillary Orthopaedics in 1992. For 14 years she worked as a principal of her own dental practice in Bogota. She also worked as a general dental practitioner for the NHS in Colombia. She came to London in 2001 and qualified as a Dental Surgeon with the GDC. Leyla worked as an associate in various practices in London before setting up Sonria Dental Clinic in 2007, where a full range of dental services are offered. Leyla has a special interest in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry, as well as Medical Aesthetics.

Dr Noor Al-Mansouri

Biography: Specialist in Orthodontics. BDS, MSc, MOrth RCS(Eng) GDC: 206824. She is our specialist in Orthodontics. Noor qualified as a dental surgeon in 2001. After a period in general dentistry practice, teaching, and several hospital appointments, she trained for a further three years at the Eastman Dental Hospital. During those three years, Noor gained a Masters in Orthodontics from University College London and later qualified with a membership in orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS (Eng). Noor is a member of the British Orthodontic Society. She has been lecturing at the Faculty of Dentistry at the RCS (Eng) since March 2011and has been granted the ‘Award of an Honorary Lectureship of the Faculty of Dental Surgery- Royal College of Surgeons of England’ in March 2015. She practices orthodontics exclusively and enjoys treating both adults and children to high standards.

Biography: General Dentist. Before starting her studies, she worked as a dental nurse. This gave her an insight into, and love, of the world of dentistry. She later achieved a postgraduate qualification in Dental Sciences. She worked as a General Dentist in Seville before moving to London in 2014. In London, Maria continued her professional development whilst working in private practice. Maria has a special interest in preventative dentistry for young children. She attended the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) in Boston in 2015 to present a literature review in a poster session about Social determinants and Early Childhood Caries. Maria also enjoys working in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry.
