Biography: He has been practicing comprehensive family medicine in the town of Stayner, just south of Collingwood for over 20 years. He has spent several years on the medical staff executive of the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital. He also was honoured to serve a three year term as Chief of Family Practice. In 2004, he spear headed the Georgian Bay Family Health Network, the largest such network in all of Ontario. He was instrumental in setting up the Georgian Bay Family Health Team which brought much needed services to the Georgian Bay Area. He continues to serve as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Family Health Team.

Biography: She is a graduate of McMaster University’s School of Medicine, and completed her residency training with a special competency in emergency medicine at Queen’s University’s School of Medicine. Dr. Kents has been practicing emergency medicine in the Region of Muskoka for over seven years and is currently the vice president of the Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare medical staff. Dr. Kents is a member of the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Kents is a Lecturer and Associate Professor for the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, and was awarded the NOSM Special Recognition Award for Teaching in 2013 for her emergency medicine training and supervision of medical students and residents.
