Biography: Dr. An Ton, believes that life is more enjoyable when people wear a happy smile. She was born and raised in Canada, where she completed her undergraduate studies and obtained her dental hygiene designation from the University of Alberta. She followed her passion for dental knowledge by pursuing her dream of becoming a dentist and completed her dental training at Griffith University, where she graduated with honors and distinction. She happily swapped the cold Canadian winters for the beautiful beaches of the Gold Coast.An is a well-rounded dentist with a particular interest in periodontics and restorative dentistry. Her goal as a dentist is to create a safe and inclusive environment where all patients feel heard and seen. She is passionate about educating patients on the importance of oral health and its relationship with overall body wellness, and she prioritizes healthy preventative habits.When she’s not working, you can find An with her yoga mat, and hiking boots, or in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes for her friends and family. She looks forward to meeting new patients at her happy place and hopes that visiting her as their dentist will bring them happiness as well.

Biography: Dr. Angela Chan joins the Starbright Dental team with a vibrant enthusiasm for dentistry and a deep commitment to patient care. A proud graduate of Griffith University, Dr. Chan earned her Bachelor of Dental Health Science in 2020 and a Master of Dentistry in 2022. Her practical experience began as a dental assistant, providing her a solid foundation in various dental practices.Since becoming a full-time dentist in 2023, Dr. Chan has dedicated herself to fostering strong patient relationships and delivering comprehensive care. Her clinical approach is prevention-focused, aiming to maintain and enhance oral health before issues arise. She holds a particular interest in periodontics, enjoying the complexities and satisfying results of treating periodontitis and helping patients achieve healthier gums. Additionally, she is skilled in endodontics and oral surgery, where her precise technical skills come to the forefront.Outside of her professional life, Angela enjoys an active lifestyle that includes Pilates and creative hobbies like clay art, which keep her energised and inspired. She also cherishes quality time with her family and friends, balancing her professional commitments with a rich personal life.Dr. Chan is excited to contribute to the Starbright Dental community and looks forward to creating lasting relationships with her patients on the Gold Coast.
