Biography: DC FCCPrincipal Partner I founded Sundial in Brighton in1991. After working in Leicester Oxford, New Zealand and Harley Street with some of the top chiropractors in the field. I settled in Brighton with the aim of building a practice that would deliver wonderful service and quick results for patients based on the latest techniques and research. I felt that people had to put up with a mediocre care in all forms of health care and I wanted to do better. I am still working at it and I hope the people we look after feel we are getting there.Chiropractic has changed in the last 20 years and keeping up with new developments is important to me. Regular courses, seminars and lectures as well reading journals and research papers help keep me up to date to deliver the best care we can.I believe that chiropractic has a role in sports performance both in injury treatment and prevention as well performance enhancement. I am team chiropractor for Brighton and Hove Albion and do what I can to help our wonderful Brighton Seagulls.I believe that any profession is only as good as its members and I have worked in several voluntary roles. I am Vice-President of the British Chiropractic Association, a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors and one of the first people registered with the General Chiropractic Council. I am the UK Director of Training for new graduates for the Royal College of Chiropractors too. I am a regional tutor and regularly lecture to recent graduates as well.I qualified from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth in 1987 which is still the best chiropractic college in the country (although I would say that). Some of my work led me to appear in the national press, on television and radio as a spokesman for the British Chiropractic Association. I have written for Men’s Fitness magazine as well book reviews in professional journals. I lecture to the chiropractic, osteopathic and physiotherapy professions on business management, foot biomechanics and orthotics. In the winter months I have worked with ski schools, boot fitters and chiropractors training them in . Previously I worked for the British Alpine Ski Team, travelling with them to major championships.I have 20 years experience treating children and a special interest in the symptoms of Developmental Delay Syndrome which include dyslexia, dyspraxia, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders. I am part of a national group of chiropractic neurologists at the forefront of using the latest discoveries in the field in neural sciences helping to understand this condition.Sport is important to me having competed at a junior level on the track and for local rugby teams in the past before the weekly battering proved too much. Having skied since I was six I am a keen skier and love going on off-piste and back-country training courses. I maintain my fitness by cycling every week throughout the year and playing tennis.

Biography: MSc DCChiropractorI graduated from AECC in Bournemouth in 2004 and then worked in a private practice in Fulham before moving to Brighton. As well as using standard chiropractic techniques I also use low level laser therapy, dry needling and physical rehabilitation exercises. These techniques reduce pain from joints, muscles and nerves for effective and therefore affordable treatment outcomes. My primary concern is with the correct diagnosis, as everyone is different, and then to educate my patients about the reason they have pain so they can easily focus on helping themselves get better and to stay well. I ran the Brighton marathon in 2011 and have always taken a keen interest in running related injuries.
