Biography: Arif Soomro graduated in 1988 from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic, he founded The Cliffs Chiropractic Clinic in 1994 with his wife Melanie, also a chiropractor. The Clinic grew rapidly and is now a multi-disciplinary centre. All of the chiropractors in the clinic are registered with the GCC, members of The British Chiropractic Association and Members of the College of Chiropractors. Arif Soomro qualified in 2001 as a specialist paediatric chiropractor and is a Certified Chiropractic Paediatric Practitioner. Arif Soomro is also a member of the U.K.’s College of Chiropractic Paediatric Faculty and a professional member of Back Care the national charity for back pain. An Essex school school asked Dr. Soomro to advise and assist in obtaining ergonomic desks and chairs for their students. They are Britain’s first school to do this with the aim of improving the children’s posture and aid concentration, combining it with a daily exercise routine devised and taught by Arif. He has since been asked to advise on the Parliamentary Advisory Committee for Healthy Schools. Arif believes in the principle- treat others as you wish to be treated. “Our patients deserve excellence and I believe every patient should be treated as if they were a member of my own family. To me this means caring for everyone as an individual, always explaining every aspect of their care and giving the best possible treatment all the time.”

Biography: Paramjit Nandhra qualified as a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) after graduating with a BSc Honours degree in Chiropractic at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic (WIOC), University of Glamorgan in 2004.Paramjit is patient-centred and dedicated to the best patient care available. He has a very keen interest in postural correction, sports injuries, biomechanics, rehabilitation, lifelong health and wellbeing. He has gained extensive clinical experience over the years and constantly strives to expand his chiropractic knowledge and skills to provide his patients with a personalised and highly effective method. His functional approachaims to get patients enjoying a pain-free status whilst participating in all the activities of daily life that they enjoyed previously, be that running, gardening or even looking after children.He believes in the importance of incorporating all aspects of a patients life into their treatment plans. This includes but is not limited to: posture, occupational and personal stress and general health. He regularly attends conferences and seminars. His continued professional development has included completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Chiropractic Development.

Biography: Melanie Cutting DC, MNIMH, MCC is a chiropractor and medical herbalist. She graduated from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic (UK) in1985 and from the School of Phytotherapy in 1992. Melanie Cutting is joint founder of the Cliffs Chiropractic Clinic.Melanie enjoys taking a holistic approach to all her patients and can combine chiropractic, medical acupuncture and herbalism if patients so wish. “ I am dedicated to achieving the best possible results for all my patients and my many years of clinical experience with a huge range of conditions enables me to enjoy the challenge of treating patients with even the most chronic complaints.”

Biography: Ms Doris Taylor LCSP is the Clinics Resident Remedial Masseur graduating from the Northern Institute of Massage in 1999. Originally recommended to the clinic for chiropractic treatment, Doris became an invaluable member of the clinical team after the facility was enlarged in 2003. Regular post graduate studies have provided Doris with a wide breadth of skills. Patients are able to receive massage as part of a package of care or independently.

Biography: Sports Therapist and Remedial Masseuse.A registered member of The Society of Sports Therapists, patients are often referred to Kelly to develop individualised exercise programme’s once they have reached stability in their treatment and require strengthening or a return to increasing activity. This may be rehabilitation for a shoulder , knee or back injury. The result is a quicker recovery and reduced chances of a relapse.Qualifying in 2008 Kelly has worked with semi-professional football players and the British Veterans Athletic team at national and world events. If you are considering a sporting event Kelly can also target the areas that are vulnerable to reduce risk of injuries.
