The Day Clinic is an expert-led private medical centre in Cambridge.
We are a unique out-patient facility offering rapid access to diagnosis and treatment of common health conditions.
From our purpose-built clinic located adjacent to the world-renowned biomedical campus in Cambridge, we are delighted to offer a comprehensive range of services designed to cater for many common healthcare needs.
Alongside the light and airy consulting rooms we have two state-of-the-art operating theatres on site from which surgical procedures can be undertaken. The clinic was designed to provide cutting edge healthcare within a relaxing environment.

Biography: Mr Abood is a consultant plastic & reconstructive surgeon, working both in the NHS and private practice. After graduating from Cambridge University, he undertook his plastic surgery training in some of the leading hospitals in the UK. His training has included prestigious fellowships at centres of excellence in Australia and America. He has been a consultant plastic surgeon at Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge since 2013, where he is the lead plastic surgeon for the major trauma service and is an integral member of the skin cancer multidisciplinary team.Mr Abood founded The Day Clinic in 2023. His vision for the clinic was the culmination of many years’ experience across NHS and private healthcare systems. Mr Abood wanted to create a bespoke out-patient facility capable of efficiently diagnosing and treating common healthcare needs in a streamlined and accessible way. The concept evolved through the Covid pandemic, adapting to meet the changing healthcare needs of the community.

Biography: Justine is a highly accomplished medical administrator who oversees the smooth running of The Day Clinic . She graduated from University College London in linguistics and is fluent in three languages! From taking initial enquiries and facilitating appointments to responding to any queries or concerns as they may arise. Justine is very much a ‘people person’ and does everything she can to ensure patients feel comfortable throughout their patient journey.In her spare time she enjoys walking her miniature dachshunds in the beautiful Cambridge countryside. She is a fan of good coffee and will frequent places which offer a good cup -feel free to ask her for recommendations!
