Biography: Dr Loo Ping Ling is the founder and director of The GiGi Dental Surgery. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) from National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2007. She and her team won first place in National University of Malaysia Final Year Dental Student Scientific Research.Immediately upon graduating she was posted to Hospital Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang and later attached to Hospital Seberang Jaya. In hospitals, she was working alongside specialist handling general case and referral case from peripheral clinics. Besides that, she was also actively involved in antenatal dental clinic and school dental clinic.Dr Loo has the strong interest in pain free and aesthetic dentistry. Her goal is to make a positive impact on people’s attitude towards dental treatment. She believes that good patient and doctor relationship results in effective communication, satisfying treatment as well as relieving dental anxiety.Dr Loo is a fellow of a number of internationally acclaimed colleges including International College of Dentistry ICD, Academy of Dentistry International ADI and International College of Continuing Dental Education ICCDE. She is also a member of International Congress of Oral Implantologists ICOI.
