Biography: Jon qualified with a degree in Physiotherapy from Bradford University in 2009. He immediately specialised in musculoskeletal practice within the NHS and worked throughout Yorkshire, Kent, South London and Wiltshire. He also has experience within the field of sports serving as the lead physiotherapist for the student Rugby League team (Pioneers) on a tour to Greece and has worked at Burnley F.C. Since 2015 he has been working as an extended scope practitioner specialising in shoulder disorders for the Reading Shoulder Unit working alongside Prof. Ofer Levy MD. In this role he is responsible for overseeing the physiotherapy input patients receive post operatively and has designed all the post operative protocol for this service. He is highly experienced in the assessment and rehabilitation of shoulder disorders, including conditions such as rotator cuff tears, subacromial pain syndrome (impingement), shoulder instability, adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder) and trauma. He is the main point of contact for out of area and Berkshire based physiotherapists regarding shoulder rehabilitation.
