About The Implant Centre - Brighton
This dental group runs two clinics which are located at Hove in East Sussex and Haywards Heath in West Sussex. A wide choice of high quality dental treatments is offered at both clinics by a friendly and welcoming team. The team strives to make dentistry a pleasant and rewarding experience for patients at both the clinics. Services provided by the team at both the clinics are examinations and the services of a hygienist, children’s dentistry, general dental care, adult orthodontics, fitting protective mouth guards, the cosmetic improvement of smiles and fitting dentures to replace missing teeth.

Biography: BDS MBBS FDS RCS (Eng) MRCS (Eng) He is exceptionally qualified for his role as one of the implant surgeons at The Implant Centre. Having trained in the UK Bill is both a dentist and a medical doctor. He is also a qualified surgeon and a registered Specialist Oral Surgeon. As if this wasn’t enough, he also has both a Fellowship and Membership from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. His extensive background in Oral Surgery provided him with the perfect starting point for learning the finer points of implant surgery when he placed his first implant back in 1996. Since then he has gone on to become one of the most experienced implantologists in the UK and has pioneered techniques now used by implantologists throughout the World.

Biography: BDS MBBS FDS RCS (Eng) BSc Hons Having trained in the UK . He qualified as both a dentist and medical doctor, with a degree in psychology. Guy prides himself on his ability to simplify implant dentistry and reassure patients at every stage. He trained at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals gaining distinctions and was put forward for the University of London Gold Medal (the highest accolade from the college). The focus of his psychology degree was dental anxiety and this is utilised on a daily basis putting nervous patients at ease with his relaxed chairside manner. Guy says “Explaining every step during the procedure is one of the most important skills to have, people need to know what is happening and how everything is going, my patients find this most reassuring”.He places around 600 implants a year (correct 2009-11) and has an audited success rate of 99.4% (5 year data). His aim is to simplify each treatment plan, this allows for a faster healing and most patients can expect a painless and trouble free healing period due to the minimal intervention (keyhole) surgical techniques he has developed.
