About The Priors Dental Practice
This dental practice, located in Penkridge in South Staffordshire has surgeries equipped with the latest in dental equipment and technology. Biography: GDC NO: 59898. L.D.S. R.C.S (Edin 1985) MSc (UCL 2004). He qualified from Edinburgh’s Royal College of Surgeons in 1985 and after nearly 30 years in the profession is still, if not more, passionate and enthusiastic about dentistry. His eagerness to continue his learning and expand his skill base is evident, thriving on the challenges of this ever-changing discipline, especially in surgical procedures. Mark’s core ethos is on high quality dentistry with longevity, ensuring the best results for his patients for many years to come. He bought The Priors Dental Practice in 1986. His enthusiasm and love for his work combined with his considerable expertise and personable character, has helped Mark build a business that is much respected across Staffordshire by both patients as well as by other dental professionals. He has undertaken several years of prosthodontic training and has been placing dental implants successfully since 1992. With his Masters degree (2004) in Conservative Dentistry, from the Eastman Dental Institute, University of London, Mark has demonstrated a skill and talent for this particular area of dentistry. This can be attested to by his peers and many satisfied patients.

Biography: GDC NO: 72637. BDS (Sheffield 1997). After qualifying in 1997 from University of Sheffield, he joined the Priors Dental Practice as Associate Dentist in 2003. He takes care of the general dentistry in the practice and is also trained in implant placement. Daniel is highly skilled in restoration treatments, veneers, crown, bridgework and cosmetic treatments and offers specialised treatment plans to meet individual dental needs. He has excellent patient relationship skills, and his patients even say they enjoy coming to the dentist! There is always a lot of laughter coming from his surgery – a good sound to hear at the dentist! He has a passion for food and wine, mountain biking and has a keen interest in cars. He likes to spend time walking with his family and dog Bodie.

Biography: Specialist Orthodonst. GDC NO: 68122. BDS, FDS RCS (Edin), FDS (Orth) RCS (Edin), MOrth RCS (Edin), MOrth RCS (Eng), MDentSci Registered Specialist in Orthodontics. He is a Specialist Orthodontist and the Lead Consultant Orthodontist at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire, where he treats a range of complex cases, both children and adults including many multidisciplinary cases. John’s approach to his work typifies the quality we aim to achieve in all disciplines at The Priors Dental Practice. His multiple qualifications and hard-earned position of respect within the profession reflect in every detail of every case he accepts. The materials and appliances he uses are of the latest design and highest quality to ensure that every patient achieves their expectations as quickly and comfortably as possible. He is a trainer for postgraduate orthodontic students based at both Birmingham and Manchester as well as contributing to many university programmes across the UK and Europe. He is involved in clinical research at the highest level and has published reports in the Journal of Orthodontics, The British Dental Journal and Evidence Based Dentistry. He is an examiner for the membership in orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, taking time out each year to help set the standards for the next generation of orthodontists.
