About The Rhinoplasty Clinic
The Rhinoplasty Clinic is the
first
Rhinoplasty-only specialist clinic in Singapore and regionally, fuelled by a deep passion and commitment and a firm belief that patients want and deserve the best.
Dr Tan Kar Su spent one year full-time in South Korea, Seoul, performing rhinoplasties with Dr Jung Dong Hak from Shimmian Rhinoplasty Clinic, a high volume rhinoplasty specialist clinic. From there he learnt the complexities and unique challenges of Asian Rhinoplasty. This, combined with his years of experience performing large number of rhinoplasties in Singapore, allowed him to have a distinct and comprehensive appreciation of the whole spectrum of different nasal types from the West to the East, normal and diseased.
Rhinoplasty, or commonly known as "Nose Job" is a commonly performed cosmetic procedure. However, less commonly known is that rhinoplasty is also performed for patients with breathing problems, or correcting of crooked and injured noses, or even treating snoring.

Biography: Dr Tan graduated from National University of Singapore in 2000. After completion of his ENT training as a fully qualified Otolaryngologist, Dr Tan continued to subspecialise in the field of Facial Plastic Surgery. He obtained a national1 year full time fellowship to further his experience in a rhinoplasty specialist institution in Seoul, South Korea. Upon his return, he served in the public institution performing mostly rhinoplasties, before starting his own practice. Dr Tan continues to serve as Visiting Consultant to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Changi General Hospital, and is actively involved in residents' teaching as well as participating as faculty for local and regional facial plastic and rhinoplasty conferences.
