Biography: Our Surgeon – Dr. André Nel, MB.ChB, MBATherapie Hair Restoration is delighted to have Dr. Nel as our Medical Director and resident Hair Transplant Surgeon.Originally trained in emergency medicine and general medical practice, Dr. Nel went on to further train and ultimately specialise in Hair Restoration Surgery.He has worked with world-leading Hair Restoration Specialists which includes training with Dr. Bijan Feriduni (Hasselt, Belgium), Dr. Mark DiStefano (Worcester, Massachusetts) and Dr. James A. Harris (Denver, Colorado, USA) & Dr. John P. Cole (Alpharetta, Georgia, USA) via FUE Palooza Conference Denver, and also working in Hair Restoration on Harley Street in London.Dr. Nel is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons and the European Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons.Qualifications:Qualified at the University of Pretoria School of Medicine in South AfricaRegistered to practice medicine in South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada and IrelandMember of the ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons)Member of the ESHRS (European Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons)Qualified in ATLS, AMLS, ACLS, BLS Certification giving full registration as an emergency physicianMBA from the University of Pretoria School of Business majoring in Information Technology systems
