Dr Vasil Yablanski

Biography: Dr. Yablanksi graduated from the Thracian Medical University in 1996. After his graduation he continued his medical education in the Surgery Department of the Duke University Hospital in North Carolina in the US.He received his specialization in orthopedics and traumatology in 2001. He has also earned specializations in endoprosthesis procedures and additional post-graduate medical training for bone-joint surgery received in Salzburg, Austria.Dr. Yablanksi earned a Master’s degree in public health from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. Dr. Yablanski worked for eight years in the orthopedics and trauma department of the university hospital in Stara Zagora, after which he began working in the university hospital Tzaritza Yoanna. He has been the department chief of the orthopedics and traumatology department since Tokuda hospital began serving the public. He is an active member of the Bulgarian Association of Orthopedics and Trauma, and the International Scoliosis.

Biography: Dr. Alek Topov graduated from the Sofia Medical University in 1995 and received his specialization in ophtalmolgy in 2002.He completed a post-graduate course in Germany in 2000 and started working in the Alexandrova University Hospitals Ophtalmology department in 1996.• Dr Topov is a part of Tokuda Hospital Sofias work team since 2008 and on 24th April 2012 he became Ophtalmogy Department Chief.• He passed extra qualification courses in the field of surgical treatment of cataracta, glaucoma and refractvie laser surgery (laser vision correction).
Prof Vassil Chervenkoff

Biography: Dr. Chervenkoff graduated from the Sofia Medical University in 1987, after which he began working as a rotational intern in the General Hospital in Silistra, Bulgaria. In 1988, he served as a resident in the university hospital Sveta Ekaterina in the vascular surgery clinic.In 1992, he met the clinical access requirements for the United States Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates ECFMG and received his certification and an year later he received his U.S. Federal Licensing Examination (FLEX) certification.• Dr. Chervenkoff received his medical specialization in general surgery in Bulgaria, after which from 07/1995 to 06/1998 he continued his specialization in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery in the Carolinas Medical Center located in Charlotte, NC under the mentorship of Professor Francis Robichek.• He received his specialization in vascular surgery in 1999, and in 2001-2001 he earned an additional specialization in the endovascular treatment of peripheral vascular diseases in the same U.S. medical center.• DDr. Chervenkoff returned to Bulgaria and defended his dissertation upon the theme “The surgical treatment of obstruction of the arteries of the lower extremities (below the knee)” and received his PhD degree.• Dr. Chervenkov has numerous scientific medical publications in national and international medical journals, regularly participates in international medical forums, and is an active member of the European Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery.• Before joining the hospital team, he was the chief resident of the vascular surgery clinic of the university hospital Sveta Ekaterina.
Dr Slavomir Kondoff

Between 1996 and 2006, he was a member of Professor Gabrovski’s team in the neurosurgery clinic of the general hospital “Pirogov”.
