Facilities
UK Dental Specialists was opened in June 2009, and is located in a tastefully refurbished building close to centre of St Albans. The waiting room is pleasant and comfortable, ensuring your visit is as relaxing as possible. The rooms are elegantly decorated and equipped with state of the art amenities.
We use only the very latest technology and employ the highest standards possible to ensure that every moment of your treatment is as professional, safe and reassuring as it can be.
Equipment
The centre boasts fully equipped, state-of-the-art treatment rooms including the latest digital x-ray diagnosis which is linked to all surgeries.
Treatments are carried out using the operative microscope. The microscope enables our dentists to offer high quality care to all patients.
We comply with BDA standard of universal cross infection control procedures and sterilisation. Separate dedicated sterilisation equipment ensures all hardware is sterilised before and after every use.

Claudio is familiar with the latest advances in Endodontics and has a wide range of experience in endodontic treatments and retreatments.He has been a clinical teacher in endodontics at Guys Hospital for eight years. Dr Kostas Ioannidis

Biography: Dr Kostas graduated from the School of Dentistry, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2007 winning the Personal Prize awarded by the Hellenic Scientific Society (January 2002) and Hellenic State Scholarships Foundation. Between 2007-2010, Kostas continued his post-graduate studies and successfully completed the specialist training in Endodontics and entered his name in the GDC Specialist List (Endodontics) UK successfully.Since his graduation, he worked as an endodontist in several private practices in Greece and in the UK. Subsequently he developed a special interest in Endodontics (root canal treatment and retreatment), attending many postgraduate private endodontics courses and the postgraduate program in Endodontics at the University of Naples. He worked in the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics of Rome “Tor Vergata” University and was an Endodontics consultant in the Fatebene Fratelli Hospital in Rome.Since 1997 Vittorio is member of the Italian Society of Endodontics and at the moment he is the President elected of the Society. Vittorio served on the editorial Board of the Italian Endodontic Journal and he is reviewer for many international Journals and author of many Scientific articles. He also wrote chapters of Endodontic textbooks. Vittorio is a well known Opinion leader and he cooperates as trainer, developer and tester with leading factories of Endodontic tools. He lectures nationally and internationally, is a visiting professor at many academic postgraduate courses in Endodontics.He works exclusively in Endodontics and Endodontic Surgery under microscopic magnification on referred patients since 1998. He is registered in the UK on the GDC specialist list in Endodontics.

Biography: Vinay graduated from King’s College London in 2012. After completing his dental foundation training in Leicester, he furthered his experience with Dental Core Training (DCT) posts in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. He obtained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2014.He had a keen interest in Restorative dentistry, and he subsequently completed DCT posts in Restorative dentistry at King’s College Hospital and Birmingham Dental Hospital. During this time, he developed an interest in Endodontics and subsequently started an MClinDent in Endodontology at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute, which he completed with distinction.Vinay recently passed the Membership in Endodontics examinations from the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of England and is on the GDC Specialist list for Endodontics. He teaches and mentors postgraduate dental students on the Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontic Practice from the Eastman Dental Institute.For the past three years Vinay has limited his practice to Endodontics, and accepts internal and external referrals for complex root canal treatment procedures, as well as diagnosis of dental pain, trauma management and internal bleaching. Following his undergraduate training, Stefan’s pursuit of obtaining the expertise of advanced treatment planning led him to work across several different dental sectors in recent years.Stefan further obtained his Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2013, now being an active member of the Royal College. He went on to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Contemporary Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry in July 2015.Stefan finally undertook the four year full-time specialist training programme at the world renowned King’s College London Dental Institute, obtaining a dual distinction in both the Masters of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontology and Masters of Restorative Dentistry in 2019.Stefan now works and lectures undergraduate and postgraduate students for King’s College London within Guy’s Dental hospital. He routinely takes on and successfully treats referral and failed restorative endodontic cases. She then completed Diploma and Master’s degrees in Endodontic Practice at The Royal London Dental Hospital. She later gained a Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and was accepted on to the General Dental Council’s Specialist Register for Endodontics.Alongside her work here in Tunbridge Wells, Dr Quinn is also a Specialist Endodontist at King’s College Hospital, London. In this role she treats patients with complex endodontic problems and those patients who have suffered severe dental trauma injuries. She is also a member of the clinical and academic teaching team and course examiner for the post-graduate Endodontic Diploma at King’s College Hospital. For several years Dr Quinn also taught Endodontics to Master’s students at the Royal London Dental Hospital.Prior to specialising in Endodontics, Dr Quinn worked in general dental practice for many years. She uses her skills, knowledge and experience to ensure that all patients receive whole-patient dental care from the diagnostic stage, to treatment planning, delivery with the latest equipment and follow-up care.Dr Quinn does have a life beyond endodontics! Biography: Dr Louise Vincer is originally from Kingston Upon Thames, and after leaving Tiffin Girls’ School, moved north to study dentistry for 5 years at the University of Leeds, graduating in 2008. After vocational training, Louise went on to work as a senior House Officer at Guy’s Hospital which involved further training in oral surgery and restorative dentistry, as well as the opportunity to present a research project at an international conference.Inspired to continue with further training, Lousie enrolled in a four year specialist training programme in endodontics based at Guy’s Dental Hospital in London Bridge. Whilst completing the course, she has published her research project in the Journal of Endodontics, and has written a case report on indirect pulp capping in Dental update.Lousie divides her time between working as a specialist endodontist at the practice, and teaching the postgraduate and undergraduate students Endodontics at Guy’s Hospital.Outside of dentistry, Louise is a keen swimmer and completed at national level during her college years.
