About Weekend Doc
Our out of hours clinic has a very simple philosophy.... if you need to see a doctor you can simply make an appointment and see a doctor. You do not have to argue your case with a call handler.
We do our best to see patients as quickly as possible and to provide a caring service that prioritises your previous medical history and your family history.
Investigations that are necessary as part of your evaluation are done as soon as practically possible, with blood tests and urine evaluations taken in the clinic.
When you are seen in the clinic, occasionally further investigations and treatment are required. We will consult with you as to how you wish to proceed with these and do our best to accommodate your wishes.
We try to provide the very best out of hours family doctor service possible with patient safety our greatest priority.
Our services include blood tests for a large range of conditions, urine testing, sputum cultures, smears, swabs and associated tests.
Referral to private hospitals for routine checks such as ECG, ECHO, 24 hr BP and cardiac monitoring, mammography, scans including ultrasound, CT and MRI if required.
Referral as required and requested to medical, surgical and associated specialists.
