Giving patients healthy white teeth and optimum oral; health is the goal of this dental clinic located at the Balmoral Plaza in Singapore. The clinic has provided services to local and international patients and helped to rejuvenate the smile of contestants taking part in beauty pageants. Treatments begin only after a treatment plan is discussed with patients and a fee estimate is given to them. Services at the clinic include examinations and hygiene services, general dental care, cosmetic smile makeovers, restorative dentistry, orthodontics and implant dentistry.

Biography: Dr. Tan Shuh Chern received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) from the National University of Singapore in 1995. He spent his first year of government service with the School Dental Services and it was where he developed a flair for treating young children. Dr. Tan was then seconded to the Ministry of Defence as a dental officer and was awarded a commendation for his contribution in achieving the ISO certification for the SAF Medical Corps.After a few years of private practice, Dr. Tan left Singapore and practised in London for two years. As a strong believer in Life Long Learning, he was recognized by the General Dental Council of England for contributing to the promotion of Continuing Professional Development for Dentists. Dr. Tan was awarded the Master of Clinical Dentistry from the University of London in 2003. His special interests are in Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry.Dr. Tan founded White Dental Group in 2003 with the practice philosophy of providing quality dental care with pride, honesty and integrity.

Biography: Dr. Lo graduated from the National Universtiy of Singapore. He received numerous awards, amongst them, the University Silver Medal. He was also on the Dean’s List for several years. He served 2 years as a dental officer with the Ministry of Health and the Singapore Armed Forces.Dr. Lo pursued a 3-year graduate programme in Orthodontics under a National Dental Center Scholarship, and graduated with Masters of Dental surgery (Orthodontics) degree. He completed his Advanced Specialist Training and was admitted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (Orthodontics). He is registered with Singapore Dental Council as a specialist in Orthodontics.Dr. Lo is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (Orthodontics), as well as a fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He has previously served as an executive member of the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore) and is currently a member of the World Federation of Orthodontists and the Singapore Dental Association.An Orthodontist with over ten years of dental experience, Dr. Lo’s interest lies in treatment involving combined Orthodontics and other disciplines in dentisty (e.g. Implants, Crowns, Orthognathic surgery).He has received further training in the use of lingual appliances, self ligating orthodontic appliances.,(eg. Damon, 3M Unitek Clarity SL/ Smartclip ) and mini implants. He is an accredited Invisalign provider.
