Biography: Jeff Mirra is a US registered nurse and medical tourism facilitator living in Costa Rica. He holds an active RN License in the state of Florida with a nursing degree from St. Petersburg College.His entrepreneurial personality and diverse background in such fields as medicine, technology, and international business project management provides a great match with the rapidly growing and exciting world of international medical travel.In addition to the medical credentials, Mirra has a Microsoft Certified System Engineer certification and is also a web developer.Mirra first heard the term “Medical Tourism” in 2008 during his first pleasure trip to Costa Rica. This turned out to be a defining moment that would change his life. It was one of those epiphanies - a calling that said: “This is what you need to be doing.”He already knew he loved international travel and helping to heal people, but didn’t know he’d fall head over heels in love with Costa Rica!He’d decided to repurpose his life. He was going to move to Costa Rica, help people heal, and travel the world. He was going to become a medical tourism facilitator… and he did.
