Biography: Dr. Ježina was born in 1968 in, in Akron (Ohio), USA. After graduating from the University of Zagreb School of Dental Medicine she obtained her degree in dentistry in 1991.Her continued commitment to postgraduate studies has ensured that she has kept up to date with the latest dental developments and techniques. In 1997 she gained her degree of Masters of Science in Orthodontics at University of Zagreb School of Dental Medicine. She then continued her training program, where she obtained the Doctoral degree in Oral Medicine at the same University in 2012. In 1999 she started her own private dental practice in Split, which has grown to become one of the top private dental practices in Dalmatia. Deeply committed to continuing education, Dr. Ježina constantly enhances her knowledge by participating in courses throughout the world: In 2004 she became member and executor of Education and mentoring programs in implant surgery by Nobel Biocare, and four years later she awarded the diploma of Master implant program at the American University UCLA; in 2009 she continued education at the Malo Clinic in Lisbon. Between 2006 and 2012 Dr. Ježina developed her skills in fixed, removable and computer-assisted orthodontics in London under prof. Andrew McChance; in 2010 she attended a course in cosmetic dentistry and non prep veneers under the President of the European Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Galip Gürel (European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry) in Istanbul. Dr. Ježina is also an authorized expert witness in the field of dental medicine. She is currently in the process of training in further postgraduate studies in the field of Health Management at the Faculty of Medicine in Zagreb.In 2006 Dr. Ježina launched a self-financed program for caries prevention in preschool and school children in the region of Split, and in 2012 she became leader of the European caries prevention project «Live, Lough and Learn» – also for Split area. Dr. Ježina gained excessive experience in the fields of cosmetic dentistry, orthodontic surgery, implantology, gnathology and dermal filler treatments.Dr. Ježina is committed to excellence in patient care based upon sound scientific evidence and principles. She is uniquely trained under some of the best clinicians in the world. She is committed to practicing the highest level of dentistry based on her experience and qualifications , always trying to implement the latest and best practices. Biography: Dr. Prentic Bakic was born in 1969 in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. After graduating from the School of Dentistry in Sarajevo and finishing her internship at the Health Centre Vrazova, she managed the private dental company MEDENT. Dr. Prentic Bakic became involved in the undergraduate teaching of dental students. She developed her skills in the fields of cosmetic dentistry, implantology, endodontics and prosthetic rehabilitation. Several years ago she decided to devote herself to the youngest patients, thus in 2013 she completed her postgraduate studies with the focus on Pedodontics from the School of Dental Medicine in Zagreb.Dr. Prentic Bakic is committed to the ongoing development of her professional skills and delivering excellent standards of clinical dentistry, therefore she is participating in numerous conferences and meetings. In addition, she is the author of many publications.Dr. Prentic Bakic is member of the Croatian Dental Chamber, Croatian Medical Association and Croatian Society of Dental Implantology.

Biography: Doctor of chemical sciences, Dabiša Ježina, is managing the Dental Practice Dr. Ježina. He graduated from the University of Akron in the United States and from the Illinois Institute of Technology. During his three-decade-long international career, Dr. Ježina held the position of technical , financial and operational director of different companies in the United States and Germany. He was operation manager of a successful Dutch company for the region of former Yugoslavia, and later Croatia, for 25 years. Nowadays Dr. Ježina’s knowledge and expertise in the management of companies and employees is applied to ensure the smooth running of the practice and a high standard of service and patient care. Besides administration and finance, he takes care of marketing, IT infrastructure, human resources, relations with partners and customers, and legal issues.

Biography: Mara Ljiljic was born in 1972 in Gornja Hrgova in Bosnia and Herzegovina. After qualifying from Nursing school in Split, she finished her internship at the University Hospital Centre Split. At the same time she trained to become dental assistant. After many years of experience, she joined the the team of Practice Dr. Ježina in 1995. Mara Ljiljic is skilled in assisting during prosthetic, conservative, periodontal, surgical and orthodontic procedures. In 2008 she completed training in the field of radiation protection and exchange of dental photographs. In the same year she has completed an advanced dental implant course and uses these skills to assist our implantologists in providing quality care. Three years later she completed the iTOP Basic Level (individual treatment of oral prophylaxis). As a member of the Croatian Association of Nurses she regularly participates in conferences and training courses.
Mrs Evlin Strukan

Biography: Evlin Strukan, a long-standing member of Dr. Ježina’s team, was born in 1974 in St. Cloud, France. After graduation from the Health Education Center in Split, she finished her internship at the University Hospital Center Split. Since 1997 she is irreplaceable in the team of Dr. Ježina. Her great?? love for dentistry Evlin directed towards the profession of dental assistant and today she … assists the doctors in prosthetic, conservative, periodontal, surgical and orthodontic procedures. In 2009 she completed training in radiation protection, and a course in dental photography. She also was trained as dental assistant in modern implantology. In 2011 she completed the iTOP Basic Level (individual treatment of oral prophylaxis). As a member of the Croatian Chamber of Dental Medicine she continues to pursue further training and increase her knowledge and skills by participating in numerous courses.

Biography: Another indispensable member of Dr. Ježina’s team since 2008 is the dental nurse Rosana Puljiz. Whether it comes to communication with patients and taking care of them during and after surgery, or teamwork and assisting – Rosana ensures that care, respect and dignity are shown to everyone. She was born in 1976 in Bruck an der Mur, Austria. After qualifying from Nursing school in Split, she finished her internship at the University Hospital Center Split. In 2011 she completed the iTOP Basic Level (individual treatment of oral prophylaxis) and a course of dental photography. Rosana is member of the Croatian Association of Nurses, and attends various study groups and courses throughout the year, updating her knowledge on all aspects of dentistry.
