Dr. Badala For his contribution to 'ophthalmology was chosen in 2007 as a scientific advisor of the' American Journal of Ophthalmology - one of the most respected scientific journals in the world of Ophthalmology. In 2008 Dr. Badala was the first ophthalmologist in Italy to implant the artificial cornea, " Boston Keratoprotesis " In 2009, it is recognized among the experts in ocular microsurgery most important organization from Who's Who in Healthcare & Medicine in the US . In January of 2010 is the first surgeon in Italy to perform interventions of cataract with implantation of intraocular lenses customizable with light .
