About Gatley Physiotherapy Clinic
The Gatley Physiotherapy Clinic is run by highly experienced Chartered Physiotherapists with over 20 years of experience, who specialise in the treatment of spinal problems, joint/muscle problems, sports injuries, postural re-education and whiplash injuries.
Conditions treated here include neck and back pain, sports injuries, muscle and tendon problems, joint problems, shoulder injuries, headaches, whiplash injuries, repetitive and overuse injuries, post fracture rehabilitation, arthritis and dizziness problems. Treatment techniques used include manual therapy, electrotherapy (ultrasound, interferential therapy, laser, tens), acupuncture, core stability and muscle balance exercises, pilates and postural advice. We can offer pre and post operative advice in relation to preventing muscle wastage/weakness especially around the knee to assist with recovery using muscle electrical stimulation (Compex).
We aim to educate our patients regarding the cause of their problem to help them avoid reoccurrence.
Also available are remedial and sports massage, chiropody, hypnotherapy, one-to-one pilates instruction and podiatry.

Biography: Qualified from Withington Hospital in 1986 and worked full time in the NHS before setting up Gatley Physiotherapy Clinic in 1995 with Caroline Dobson. Colette has gained extensive experience in the field of musculoskeletal/ sports injuries by working with the England and Great Britain Volleyball teams, attending British Olympic Training Camps and enjoys club tennis. She has aldo worked with local rugby and football clubs. Her sporting interests continue whilst playing and coaching netball.

Biography: Also qualified in1986 from Withington Hospital and worked full time in the NHS at various local hospitals and local private hospitals before joining together with Colette setting up Gatley Physiotherapy Clinic in 1995.

Biography: Qualified in 1993 from Manchester Royal Infirmary School of Physiotherapy and furthered her knowledge by completing a Diploma in Physiotherapy for sport in 1998. She utilized her sporting knowledge when she was physiotherapist for the Bradford Diving Squad, The North West Region under 19 Badminton Squad and was a volunteer physiotherapist at The Commonwealth Games in Manchester, 2002.
