Biography: Growing up in Switzerland, graduated from Dr. Shafighi his medical studies at the University of Zurich and in London. The specialist training in plastic surgery closed it at the from University Clinic of Bern. In the same step, he received the European specialist title for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Thereafter he completed several years Fellowships at internationally renowned clinics in England and expanded in this time his experience across the spectrum of aesthetic and plastic surgery. Here he worked for several years as a lecturer in Plastic Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons in London. Dr. Shafighi Award for his clinical and research activities with national and international awards. In Bern University Hospital Dr. Shafighi several years worked as a senior physician. Due to its excellent technical and scientific expertise, he was appointed for Plastic Surgery of the Medical Faculty of the University of Bern Privatdozent (PD). As chief physician and deputy chief physician in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, Aesthetic and Hand Surgery at the University Hospital, he held various management positions in clinical practice with patients and in teaching at the University of Bern. In this context, Dr. Shafighi was quality management representative of the Department of Plastic and Hand Surgery at the Inselspital.
