Biography: Dr. Visser completed her general medical education at the University of Amsterdam (Netherlands) in 1976. She then trained in Germany to become a general surgeon and after that trained to become a plastic / hand and reconstructive surgeon. Until 1995 she worked as a Chief Doctor in Essen (Germany) and started a separate plastic surgery department in a general hospital there. Afterwards Dr. Visser specialised mainly in aesthetic surgery.
