Biography: Since graduating from medical school in Paris with an outstanding academic record, Dr Roger Amar went on to specialise in plastic and reconstructive surgery, dealing with trauma, burns, cancer repair and orthopaedic surgery. He followed this with 25 years of private work, during which he performed mostly cosmetic surgery procedures. In 2002, Dr Amar founded the Amar clinic in Marbella, Spain, where he continues to treat patients from all over the world.
