About Cross House Dental Practice
A magnificent Tudor building in Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire houses this dental practice which offers a full range of high quality dental care. Private adult patients are treated at affordable rates and children under the NHS are treated at the clinic. Treatments provided at the clinic are scale and polishing, gum disease treatments, services of a hygienist, fillings, simple and surgical extractions, root canal treatments, crowns, bridges and veneers, tooth whitening, fitting partial and full dentures, cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics.

Biography: GDC number: 52528.Started his working life in biochemistry research at Birmingham University. After studying at Manchester Dental School he qualified in Dentistry in 1978 and practised in Manchester and Newton-le-Willows until moving to The Cross House in 1989. From 1991-94 he worked in the orthodontic department at Cheltenham General Hospital and in 1995 after 3 years of study he was awarded the DPDS at Bristol University. In 1994 Peter started a referral practice in Evesham to provide orthodontic treatments and still spends at least 2 days a week there. Peter is married with three children, in his spare time he is a keen golfer and an active member of Tewkesbury Rotary Club, in any remaining time he will be found in his garden.

Biography: GDC number: 62297 -Originally from Cumbria, Barbara studied dentistry in Newcastle and qualified in 1987 winning the prestigious Sopwith Prize on the way. After gaining extensive experience in many aspects of dentistry working in General Practice in the north east she moved to Worcester in 2000 and joined the Cross House in 2010, she regular attends courses to gain knowledge of the newest techniques and materials Barbara is married with three children, she loves skiing, cooking, attending the gym and walking the dog.

Biography: GDC number: 5148 Claire is from Sheffield and qualified as a hygienist from Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in 1996. Prior to this she worked as a Dental Surgery Assistant in the Orthodontic and Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery Department at Lincoln County Hospital and as a civilian Dental Surgery Assistant with the MOD. Following qualification she has worked in general dental practice where she spends time treating both adults and children, she has a particular interest in treating nervous patients. Claire is married with two children, in her spare time she likes to keep fit, enjoys arts and crafts and reading. As a mother of two young children she discovered a real talent and is now a very proficient celebration cake maker.
