Biography: Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, MD, DFSRH, with a special interest in Normal Delivery, Infertility, investigation & Assisted Rerpoductive Techniques, Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy, Colposcopy. Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning of Sexual and Reproductive Health Care (DFSRH) of the Royal College of Obstetricians Gynecologists (RCOG), Fellowship in Laparoscopic Surgery, Also, Registered with the GMC, Entered on the Special Register of the GMC, License to practise in the U.K., Certificate of Competence in performing Ultrasound Scan inObstetrica and Gynecology, Full Licence to practise in Greece.Vasileios Bagiokos was born in Athens in December 1973.He graduated from the Medical School of University of Patra   in May 1998. He worked at the General Hospital of Chalkida, the Regional Medical Center of Rovies and in December of 1999 he started working at the 2nd  Pediatric Surgery Clinic of the Hospital “Aglaia Kyriakou”.He worked for two (2) years in the U.K., from May 2002 to August 2004, at Bedford Hospital and Luton & Dunstable Hospital, next to excellent Consultants of Obstetrics and Gynecology, like Mrs Sarah Reynolds with special interest  in Urogynecology, high risk pregnancies, diabetes in pregnancy, Mrs Rosemarie Wallace, with special interest in infertility and polycystic ovary syndrome, Mr Owens J. Owens, with  special interest in laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, endometriosis , colposcopy and cervical pathology, etc.In 2003, he received his Diploma of Family Planning and Reproductive Health Care (Diploma of Family Planning and Reproductive Healthcare, DFSRH 31.07.2003 D0160165) of the Royal College of Obstetricians-Gynecologists  (RCOG).In Greece, he  worked in Elena Venizelou Hospital  in an environment with many high-risk pregnancies,  gaining significant experience with large numbers of normal  deliveries, caesarean sections and gynecological operations.Of a special interest to him is the preservation of fertility, reproductive health of women, care of pregnant women, before conception to completion of birth, sexually transmitted disease, polycystic ovaries syndrome, infertility and endoscopic surgery.He has participated in numerous conferences and seminars and has published articles in Greek and foreign magazines.Today he practices Obstetric and Gynecology at “IASO” Hospital, Rea Maternity Hospital, and “Lito” hospital while maintaining a private clinic at Vas. Sofias Avenue 115, Athens, Greece.
