Director and founder Dr. Sharmeen Shaikh has a passion for skincare and a drive to improve self-esteem and confidence in her patients by helping them look and feel their best. Dr. Shaikh has taken a keen interest in preventing and treating youth and adult skincare problems. She will never minimize, overlook, or fail to address any skincare problem, and she truly appreciates the profound psychological impact it can have on her patients.

With nine years of experience, Dr. Shaikh has devoted herself to becoming extremely skilled and evidence-based with aesthetic/cosmetic procedures. She has attended numerous aesthetic medicine learning opportunities, workshops and conferences locally, nationally, and internationally, and has developed her modern injection techniques with frequent hands-on training sessions working with talented and reputable injectors. Dr. Shaikh is a perfectionist and truly appreciates and understands the skill in medicine when it comes to the field of aesthetics. She continues to pursue continuing medical education with a focus in the area of Aesthetic and skin diseases. She is a member in good standing with the Canadian Association for Aesthetic Medicine (CAAM), the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM), the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP), the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA), the Alberta Medical Association (AMA), and the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
