Mrs Kim Leith

Treatments

Biography: BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy - 2010Why see Kim?Kim has experience treating a variety of injuries in private practice, from low back pain to sports injuries. She particularly enjoys working with patients post-operatively and also uses her APPI Pilates mat work training regularly to help build core stability and strength. Kim is qualified to use acupuncture as part of her physiotherapy treatments. Why Physio?I've always wanted to do something medical and after seeing the impact Physiotherapy had on a relative with Multiple Sclerosis, I knew that Physio was for me. I love the challenge of finding and fixing a problem! What excites me?Meeting new people each day and being a part of their recovery. It is incredibly rewarding to help someone reach their goal and get back to normal - whether its walking to the local shop or running a marathon. When I'm not working? You can usually find me at home in the kitchen baking - if not, I'll be practicing my Pilates to burn off all the cake I've eaten! I also enjoy going to watch my partner play Rugby and cheering him on (then patching up all his injuries afterwards!).
