Biography: Dr. José Ramón Castello is Specialist in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, Doctor of Medicine and Surgery and Plastic Surgery Fellow at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at New York University in the United States. He has served in prestigious institutions as the Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal, Bellevue Hospital, in the United States, the University Hospital of Getafe, the MD Anderson Cancer Hospital and the Hospital Universitario Puerta de Hierro. It belongs to the most important scientific societies of this specialty, including the Spanish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, the Spanish Society of Microsurgery, the Spanish Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Federation of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the National Committee of the Specialty, Specialty representative of the Ministry of Health and has been a board member of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Society of Plastic Surgery.
