Biography: She have always been interested in understanding the overall general health, well-being and lifestyle of the individual. These factors can affect the long-term health of your teeth and gums. I believe a combined approach with naturopaths, homeopaths, physiotherapists, ear nose and throat specialists, chiropractors, Buteyko practitioners, oral myologists and others, can help you to achieve your best state of health. She studied Orthodontics (mini residency in orthodontics – Dr Derek Mahony), which opened my mind and network to a vast, and enlightening international community of dentists and doctors interested in the overall health of their patients, including the Orthotropics community and the Full Face Philosophy. She have been trusted in the past by many patients, not only for their dental work, but also because I genuinely care and listen to the patients to ensure they leave feeling satisfied and supported.

Biography: Oral Health Therapist. She Started out in the dental industry as just a patient, like anyone else. I had my fair share of dental treatment and then started working as a dental assistant, while pursuing university to become an Oral Health Therapist. We Oral Health Therapists (OHT) work on children’s teeth and assist adults in maintaining healthy teeth and gums. I have worked in QLD all my life and have worked as an OHT in Brisbane, Gympie and now the Sunshine Coast. I have worked with Dr. Rita Goulart for a few years, and strongly share the same philosophy. When we first met I was only a recent graduate with the basic knowledge learnt from university. Since then I began to soak up knowledge from Rita and from continuing education courses and really became passionate about treating children early on where an issue presents rather than leaving problems to compound and potentially get worse. In particular Myofunctional therapy is what I love as the philosophy makes sense; where the habits, muscle posture and breathing all affect dental development. I believe prevention is the best dental treatment, where it not only prevents dental decay, but preserving the teeth and bone/facial structure can help with preventing braces and breathing & sleeping issues related to the jaw development. She feel very lucky to be able to work with Rita in her practice where I can perform a wide range of duties not just basic ones learnt at university, but the evolving ones too including breathing therapies and Myofunctional therapy.

Biography: She have lived on the Sunshine Coast since I was 3. I have been in the dental industry for 13yrs and absolutely love and have a passion for everything about it. I have worked in all aspects of dentistry from general dentist, Periodontist to orthodontics. I started immediately after year 12 and finished my certificate III in dental assisting in 2003. Since then I have worked in many practices on the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Sydney and back to the Sunshine Coast. She and I have worked together for many years, I was her nurse when she first came to Australia 7yrs ago and we make a fantastic team together. I love her Philosophy and approach to her work, I have never worked with anyone that is as dedicated, driven and knowledgeable as Rita while at the same time very warm, genuine, and friendly.
