Biography: Yale University trained clinician, skin scientist, and internationally recognized lecturer for various skin conditions in particular skin pigmentation. Dr. Choi is one of the few government certified aesthetic providers of cosmetic dermal fillers, body-contouring procedures, [Name redacted] injection, and other cosmetic procedures by the provincial licensing authority. He is one of Galderma’s top cosmetic filler and injectors in Canada and a highly sought after filler injector among local Asian population for his natural & balanced aesthetic results. In 2016, he became the first and only Canadian instructor to be invited to teach an elite group of Korean plastic surgeons and dermatologists at the live filler injection seminar hosted by the Association of Petit Aesthetic Surgery (APAS) in Seoul, South Korea. In addition to fillers, and technologies, he performs advanced minor surgery, prescribes evidence-based pharmaceutical drugs, and provides expert diagnosis for various skin conditions. He is a fellow and current director of education at the Canadian Society of Skin Medicine. He has received the diploma from the Australian Institute of Dermatology with distinction. He is a top-tier graduate of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. He successfully completed their highest level of training and qualifying examinations.
