Biography: She attended the Ohio State University, and graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Honors, with a minor in the life sciences. She was Magna Cum Laude and earned many distinctions and scholarships. She graduated in 2007 from the Ohio State University College of Medicine. She was appointed to the Landacre Society for medical student research, served as co-chair for the Family Medicine Leadership Development Program, and completed the Family Medicine Honors Program. She then completed her Family Medicine Residency at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio in 2011. She was elected by the hospital staff to receive the Spirit of Caring award for humanism in medicine and respect for the team approach to patient care.
