Biography: Dr Mc Alindens background is in the medical research area and he has published articles in peer reviewed journals in the area of cancer research and in molecular biology. While working at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit as a research associate he decided on a career change. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1999 and worked for 2 years with Park Dental in Minneapolis. On returning to Ireland he work as an associate in Castlebar before taking over Tuam Dental from Dr Kieran Cooke in 2002. Dr Mc Alinden holds both American and Irish Dental Licensure and attends meeting in Europe and the United States regularly to keep up with latest innovations in techniques and materials.

Biography: Dr Kieran Cox BDS joined the Tuam Dental team in Sept 2014 having recently returned from a busy general practice in London where he gained extensive experience in areas such as root canal treatments and crowns. A graduate of Trinity College, he is a caring dentist and is happy to treat nervous patients. Kieran keeps up with the latest developments in dentistry by attending lectures regularly and recently completed part 1 of the MJDF (Member of the Joint Dental Faculties) examinations.

Biography: Sinead qualified from the Glasgow Dental Hospital in June 1992. She won the Ash Prize for best clinical student. She has worked in the public sector in Laois and Offaly, before moving to Galway where she has worked in various private practices. Sinead joined the Tuam Dental team in January 2003 She has completed further courses in local anaesthesia and health promotion. She is a member of the Irish Dental Hygienist Association and attends their annual meeting.
