Biography: Dr. B. P. Krishna Prasad is a Radiologist with an outstanding expertise in various fields of Radiology. He did his under-graduation from Madras Medical College and post-graduation from Government Medical College, Nagpur. He had a brilliant academic career and accomplished seven gold medals at the time of his graduation and stood university second in his post-graduation. He then completed his Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Neuro and Vascular Interventional Radiology from one of the premier institutions for Interventional Radiology – Kovai Medical Center. He has been a speaker in venous interventions and peripheral vascular diseases in a few conferences and has presented papers in various state and national level conferences. He has been ardent about Interventional Radiology and has been enthusiastically learning and practicing it since his second year of post-graduation. He has more than five years of experience in comprehensive management of varicose veins especially with Minimally Invasive Ablative therapy comprising of Laser / radiofrequency ablation, sclerotherapy and microsclerotherapy.
